College of Science, University of Baghdad organized a symposium on implementing modern technology in developing program of mine action.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a lecture on implementing modern technology in the applications of detection and remote controlling of mines and war remnants.
The symposium reviewed types of mines such as landmines, anti-personnel landmines and anti-tank mines and it mentioned the military operations that contaminated with mines and remnants of war, as well as using modern technology to manufacture prosthetics and rehabilitation of victims.
