Department of Strategy in the College of Political Science, University of Al-Nahrain organized an online symposium on the possibility of teamwork to achieve regional security in the Middle East - conditions_ opportunities _ future prospects. The online symposium aimed at find a working formula according to a shared vision among the countries of the region in light of the mechanisms for achieving regional security in the region of the Middle East Alliance and the importance of strengthening regional security in the Middle East. The online symposium reviewed regional security in the Middle East between security imperatives and the implications of collective performance after the Corona pandemic, regional security in the Middle East brakes and opportunities, as well as demonstrating regional cooperation to combat terrorism after the collapse of ISIS in the Middle East and North Africa and mechanisms for collective action in the Middle East strategic alliances as a model and strategic alliances for the Middle East as a future vision and the basics of regional capabilities to achieve regional security in the Middle East. The online symposium recommended that Iraq should move within the Arab environment and in the framework of Arab League’s States to activate joint Arab security cooperation, especially since terrorism still constitutes a real threat to most of the countries of the region in light of the international challenges.
