Department of Biology, Al-Iraqia University organized an online symposium on zoonotic bacterial diseases, the Faculty Member in the College, Dr. Khalid Mahmoud Hammadi said. Dr. Hammadi added that the online symposium reviewed the proper ways to control and prevent common diseases. Dr. Hammadi continued by saying that the online symposium demonstrated common bacterial diseases between humans and animals, as well as a group of diseases that affect animals and can be transmitted from them to humans in different ways besides these diseases may occur in the form of individual cases such as infection with Salmonella or collectively such as an epidemic Brucella Auma is known as Malta fever as well as TB, Anthrax, Glanders and Plague.
