Higher Education announced on the specialties and conditions to nominate to the science day awards and the submission will be not after 18-6-2017, Director of Relations and Media and Spokesman, Dr. Haider M. J Al-Aboudi said.

Dr. Al-Aboudi added that the specialties included natural sciences, engineering and technology, medical and health sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences and humanities sciences.

Dr. Al-Aboudi mentioned that the awards included the top university that achieved highest achievements in the academic year 2016, best research center or unit in the academic year 2016, top faculty members who publishes in the international sober journal in the academic year 2016, best scientific journal in the academic year 2016, scientific creativity, initiation and patent in the academic year 2016, medal of scientific excellence, best author or translator in the academic year 2016, best graduation project of last year students in the academic year 2016, students awards of group volunteering work and retired faculty members.

 Dr. Al-Aboudi said that the submitting will be via (http://scienceday.rdd.edu.iq), the applicant should be inside Iraq, member of the Higher Education staff and all the participations should be from 1-1-2016 till 13-12-2016 beside the applicant can participate with more than one award.

Dr. Al-Aboudi mentioned that the applicant should not obtain any award of the last years’ science day awards, each university will nominate only ne retired faculty member with a clean history.
