During a meeting with the Head of Iraq High Commission for Human Rights, Dr. Aqeel Al-Mousawi and accompanied delegation, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib reviewed mechanisms for developing educational curricula in the field of human rights. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib also reviewed human rights file, its importance and the need to support universities in developing this filed via online applications, workshops and symposiums that contribute to support human rights concepts in this important field. His Excellency the Minister expressed the Ministry’s readiness on supporting all activities of the Iraq High Commission for Human Rights in universities, colleges and institutes. For his part, Dr. Al-Mousawi reviewed the mechanism of cooperation between the affiliated centers to the IHCHR and the researches and continuing education centers of the Ministry and the process of exchanging experiences that promote the culture of human rights in Iraq.
